The vocal performances were all fine but it's just too bad they weren't given anything funny to say. This is 'Shrek 4D, Universal Studios Theme Park Ride' by Hauser Editorial on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos and the people who love. The entire thing just felt really rushed and overall I thought some of the animation looked quite cheap. I can't speak to how well the effects were as I watched the 2-D version under the title THE GHOST OF LORD FARQUAAD but I can say that neither version had any good laughs. It’s comparable to MuppetVision 3D at Walt Disney World, minus the humor. Shrek 4D also has moving seats and in-theater effects like squirts of water. It seems every single scene is just built up so something could go flying through the air towards the camera or a punch is thrown towards the camera. (photo by Clint Gamache of ThrillGeek) It’s a typical 3D film in a theme park, with antiquated projection and glasses. Durante casi 20 años en parque, Shrek 4-D es una sesión que trae aventura y diversión para toda la familia. I understand the original version was in 3-D but the effects were obviously the main focus and there's no real evidence that the filmmakers were trying to tell any sort of good story. From what I read after viewing this thing, it appears this was added as a bonus on the re-release of the first movie and it seems not too many were happy with the marketing process but the film itself is what really should have bothered them. ABOUT: 'Shrek 4-D (also known as Shrek 3-D for the DVD release, and The Ghost of Lord Farquaad for the Netflix release.) is a 4D film at various theme parks around the world.
